What GenerativeFill.ai does with the images you upload and the account data you give us
Summary
GenerativeFill.ai is an online image upscaler. To upscale an image we have to receive it, so your images are uploaded to our servers and sent to a third-party AI processor. They are not processed inside your browser.
- We keep your uploaded original for 24 hours, and the upscaled result for 30 days. Both are then deleted automatically.
- Your images are sent to fal.ai, which runs the upscaling models.
- Only you can view your results. They are served through an access check tied to your account.
- We do not sell your data, do not show advertising, and do not use your images to train any model.
Who we are

What we collect
Account data
When you create an account we store your email address and name, plus a hashed password if you signed up with a password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name and profile picture from Google — we never receive your Google password.
Images you upload
We store the image you upload and the upscaled image we produce. We also record technical details of the job: the original and output dimensions, file size and format, which mode you chose, which model ran, timing, and whether it succeeded.
We do not analyse the content of your images beyond running the upscaling model on them, and we do not use them to train models.
Credits and payments
We record your credit balance and an immutable ledger of every credit granted, spent and refunded, so that billing disputes can be resolved. Card details are never sent to us — payments are handled by our payment processor.
Technical data
Standard server logs (IP address, browser user agent, timestamps) generated when your browser talks to our servers. These are used for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. See the Cookie Policy.
Where your images go
Upscaling runs on models hosted by fal.ai. When you start a job:
- Your image is uploaded to our storage (Cloudflare R2).
- It is sent to fal.ai, which runs the model and returns the result.
- We download the result into our own storage and discard the copy on fal's servers.
fal.ai processes the image to perform the upscale. Their handling of the data is governed by their own privacy terms.
Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 and R2), which stores and serves the data on our behalf.
How long we keep things
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Uploaded original | 24 hours, then deleted automatically |
| Upscaled result | 30 days, then deleted automatically |
| Job record (sizes, timing, status) | Kept while your account exists |
| Account and credit ledger | Kept while your account exists |
| Server logs | Kept for a short operational period |
Deletion of images is enforced by automatic storage lifecycle rules, not by manual clean-up.
Who can see your results
Your upscaled images are stored privately. When your browser requests one, we check that you are signed in and that the file belongs to your account. A person who has the file's address but is not signed in as you receives an error, not the image.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from Settings → Security. Deleting your account removes your profile, your job history and your stored images.
You may also ask us to export or correct your data by emailing support@generativefill.ai.
Legal basis and your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. We process your data because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for, and to comply with our legal obligations.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@generativefill.ai.
Children
GenerativeFill.ai is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the product.
